Thank you all for the effort you put into Verses on the Green! If we did not hear your poem recitation on Friday, you will perform for us on Thursday in class. I will be harsher with grading because it is MUCH easier to perform for your class than for the whole school outside with a microphone!
Below you will see a few of the best presentations. You can tell how hard it was to hear. Speaking slowly, loudly and clearly into the microphone is critical.
THIS WEEK:
Monday and your day 2 (Tues./Wed.): final timed writing assessment
BRING YOUR NOVEL ANALYSIS SHEET AND CHART OF LITERARY ELEMENTS!
If you forget either of these, you will have to make do with what you have in your memory banks. You won't be permitted to print it out or borrow once the school day begins.

Day 3: We will have our first review for the final exam. Mrs. Brown will be speaking about the summer reading program.
Friday: FIELD DAY! If it rains, we will review for finals.
